Bobert

Bobert came from a small colony of cats outside Fort Liberty. His rescuers first saw a wisp of him about two months ago, but he disappeared the moment he saw a human. The first time they saw his face, his big Tom cheeks made them think they'd lured a bobcat to their porch!

Bobert was picked up from the streets at just the right time. He originally was just going to be kept for a night after being neutered through Cumberland County's TNR program, but they just couldn't put him back on the streets with his sweet demeanor, the fact that he was hopping around on a hurt leg, and had a swollen, infected ear. While at the vet for vaccines and to get his leg and ear addressed a combo test showed he is FIV+.

The vets aged him to six years. He has scars from a rough life, but you'd never be able to tell with how he melts in your hands. He could drown out a Harley with his purrs and could keep up with an industrial biscuit maker. Robert's days as a rough and tumble Tom are over and he's ready to be a happy rescue cat!
